Photographer and Digital Fine ArtistLouis Ruth lives in Oregon
Photographer and Digital Fine Artist Louis Ruth was born in New York, but spent his formative years in Oregon. As a young boy he discovered the joy of snapping a photo and trying to capture what he saw. He later went on to study Fine Art at Southern Oregon State College.
While in the military, from 1983-1986, Louis discovered his talent and love of photography taking pictures of the places he toured with his 35mm camera and studying Ansel Adams.
Louis uses a Canon EOS 7D 18.1MP camera and Canon’s professional L-series lenses, various Promaster PRO HGX filters to achieve the finest quality photographs.
Today Louis is known all around the world for his famous and "Eye Catching HDR style Photography" printed on metal. His process is an achievment that has been self taught, from hours and hours of testing different light exposure, he then layers each photo in Photomatrix and Photoshop CS5, where he renders the images to create his "HDR" style photos.

Louis Enjoys teaching others his skills as well, where he has his one-on-one classes with admirers of his famous and unique HDR style of photography.
Louis finished his 7th photography book with how-to tips and tricks in it.
